a life on the road

a life on the road

growing up, my family was always on the go, moving from place to place, minnesota to texas to alaska, my siblings and I being home-schooled along the way. my parents raised us on road trips, and I still find myself with a strong affection for mysterious truck stops in middle of nowhere america.

this life has made me feel alive in the unknown, and now as my dad faces the ultimate unknown; counting down days in the hospital, waiting for a heart transplant, he needs our help. It would mean the world to my family if you could share his story and donate to gofundme.com/jonlurie.

"you’ll need coffee shops and sunsets and road trips. airplanes and passports and new songs and old songs, but people more than anything else. you will need other people and you will need to be that other person to someone else, a living breathing screaming invitation to believe better things." words by jamie tworkowski.
